How to participate
To assure technical and oncological quality of the TaTME technique, all participating centers will be conducted a surgical quality assessment . The end product of a Delphi methodology will comprise a technical manual and operation logbook, and a competency assessment tool, which will be used for objectively approved entry and to monitor and measure adherence to agreed standards during the trial.
The video and photographic methodology will be validated for use during the COLOR III. Specialists who have interest in the TaTME technique (and preferably already have experience with the technique), can send an email to colortrial@vumc.nl when interested in participating in the trial.
