For the past decade, he was co-owner and lead colorist at CAN Film, a post-production facility specializing in feature films and high-end drama series. Now working as a freelancer again, Nikolai not only grades films and series but also develops custom software solutions for the film industry, consults on technical workflows, and teaches post-production. Nikolai teaches classes in English and in Swedish. <em><strong><a href=\"#schedule\">See a schedule of Nikolai&#8217;s upcoming classes<\/a>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>He began his career in 1994 as an editor and gradually transitioned through VFX and online editing into color grading.
