In this new course from the ICA we will start with a 3 camera shoot ( RED, BMCC, SONY) and dive into how you should shoot for the grade and pre plan your shots to make your life easier in post. However this doesn\u2019t always happen so we\u2019ll be making some common mistakes on this shoot and then learning how to \u2018fix\u2019 or match them correctly in Davinci Resolve. Not all cameras look the same so matching cameras is a common problem all productions face.<\/p>\n<p>This class is an excellent introduction to working with DaVinci Resolve and Frame.io. It is ideal for first time users and you do not need any experience to attend. It is important when learning any software to learn the correct way, that will then form a great foundation going forward.<\/p>\n<p>Class size is capped at 15 students. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop with Davinci Resolve already installed. You will be get the footage we shoot in the morning so can follow along with the Post Production side of the class.<\/p>\n<p>The class mixes the operational side of Resolve with real world workflows and problems that might happen while shooting. It is run at a relaxed pace, questions are encouraged and group participation is a key part of the course.<\/p>\n<p>This class is ideal for small production companies, \u20181 man band content creators\u2019, editors, DITs, DPs, and Photographers, basically anybody with a desire to learn more about color correction and workflows. Producers and Directors who are not necessarily hands on will benefit from the workflow knowledge that the class brings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You will learn:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Best practices for multi camera shoots<\/p>\n<p>Complete overview data wrangling software to backup your footage successfully.<\/p>\n<p>Exporting with color correction or a LUT for the Editor, Producer and VFX team.<\/p>\n<p>Basic editing and how to build a timeline in Resolve.<\/p>\n<p>Matching our sequence with different cameras: Where do you start?<\/p>\n<p>Primary correction.<\/p>\n<p>Secondary correction.<\/p>\n<p>A general look at different camera formats.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing and rendering to Frame i-o, Vimeo, ProRes Master<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who should attend:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a 101 level class that aims to take your projects to the next level.
